Taïs Reganelli is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, born and raised in Switzerland until the age of nine. She lived in Italy for nearly two years in 1999 and has been living in Portugal since the end of 2017.
With a velvety voice praised by Caetano Veloso, she has built a solid body of original work, releasing four albums and two singles/music videos in 2019. She was also complimented by Jô Soares when she appeared on his show.
Throughout her career, she has won numerous awards at music festivals and has been nominated twice for Best New Artist and Best Album at the Prêmio da Música Brasileira. Taïs has opened shows for Toninho Horta, Toquinho, Ivan Lins, Guilherme Arantes, Leila Pinheiro, and Maria Gadú. She has participated in several projects and music festivals and, as a special guest, has contributed to dozens of albums.
In addition to her singing and songwriting career, Taïs has shown versatility in theater and film. She has recorded soundtracks for plays and short films and has toured extensively throughout Brazil, Latin America, Central America, and Europe.
She also works as an arranger and performer of children’s songs for a popular French YouTube channel. She regularly performs concerts featuring her original songs and, during the pandemic, recorded numerous videos with musicians from various backgrounds.
In 2019, she enrolled in the “How to Write Songs” class with Adriana Calcanhotto at the University of Coimbra, then pursued a postgraduate degree in “Writing Arts” at the University of Lisbon, and recently completed a songwriting workshop with Luísa Sobral.
In December 2020, she released the single "Como Um Último Beijo", a song co-written with Nuria Mallena, produced by Adriana Calcanhotto, which has garnered over 300,000 streams.
In 2022, she released Medo, featuring Pedro Luís, and in December won the MEC Public Radio Festival in Brazil for Best Popular Song of the Year.
In 2023, she was invited to represent Brazil at the G20 convention in Varanasi, India, and at Angojazz in Luanda, Angola.
In 2024, she released Simon, a collaboration with Nando Freitas, and in April 2025, after ten years, she released her new album Pulmão Aberto, featuring contributions from Bebé, Pedro Altério, and Portuguese artist Lea Velez.
